Do you do too much? Do you find yourself grappling for time to yourself? Because of all the activity you do not accomplish things you want too because you are in recovery mode? You sit down to relax or unwind and waste all that time you could have been cleaning, writing, cooking.
Ugh, yes that’s me.
That is me. Embrace yourself. It’s ok.
I used to beat myself up. Why didn’t you? What is wrong with you? Why, why, why? Not anymore.
Tomorrow is another day.
Scripture says God’s mercies are new every morning. God’s word is truth. Embrace that too.
I keep a running list of the many things I have to do; groceries or supplies I need, things I need to write or want to, studies I need to do, books I am reading and want to do, bills I am paying down, appointments…. I truly run on my lists.
Because it helps me. I can tick off the things I get done to show my accomplishments, rearrange the things that need to be done. I no longer take it as a negative, but a positive.
When those negative thoughts creep in, I have scriptures to remind me of the truth. Do you?
Here are a few:
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:19
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
It is good to remind yourself what Gods has done and is doing in your life. Myself…You have a chapter in a book about Gods rebuilding in your life, you are a good salesman with a man of God as a boss, you are a present grandmother and mother, you are a child of God and you are loved. You work hard and play very little. It is OK to breathe.
I say all this to say, give yourself the grace you give others and God gives you. Some advice from Susanne 101!!
- Strategize your life to maximize your spiritual, emotional, financial and physical well being.
- Strategize on the best ways to love others without sacrificing your well being.
- Strategize how to accomplish what God has for you so you do not compromise your well being.
- Strategize your future well being by praying ahead, visualizing what it takes to be in a better position than today?
I’ll talk a little more about these in future posts, but in the meantime, think for yourself. How can you strategize to move forward?
It is already the middle of March 2025. My weight loss has stagnated so I will strategize on how to maintain and lose better. My writing has slowed. This was purposeful strategy to move me a deeper position spiritually, dig me out of some financial woes, and determine my best course forward in maximizing my reach into the world for Jesus. My house needs some work; need a new storm door, repair some skirting, replace the front door tiles, and my dishwasher bit the dust after 25 years this week. I must strategize, and I also need to create a plan and implement it one step at a time. This takes time, prayer and effort. I have tons of work to do.
Join me on this journey. If I can help you, please let me know. I could use your prayers too.
Lord thank you for bringing strategy to the forefront of my 2025. I pray for everyone who reads this, that my words help prick their hearts to move well too. Thank you for your endless support and strength. Help us to make wise decisions for our future, to know what your words says in moving us forward in your plan. Please guide our steps. We love you, In Christ.
Stay Beautiful
Susanne
