Writing has always been a gateway for healing and a platform to share how I have been empowered to change. I know most non-fiction authors feel the same. We have a message to share and a deep hope that it will inspire someone else to do the same.
I truly love memoir, and I read memoirs as my first go to book to read or listen to on audio. Do you understand what memoir is?
A memoir is not an auto biography of the day-to-day happenings in one person’s life. It does involve pieces of a person’s historical accounts in their life; however, it is usually centered around a particular theme to draw out this narrative that pops out in their life and could potentially help others understand.
I write often about how God has moved in my life in substantial, empowering ways. Writing a memoir for me is not only about how God has moved in my personal story, but also in your stories. I want to pull God out of the timeline to show you personally how God is found even in the heartache and empower you to seek God in your own narratives, so you can believe He is with you, and has directed your life too.
My stories that will be coming out in this book will examine the hard knocks of life, the gracious testimony of growth, and the overwhelming visual of God’s rescue. God is within your pages too and I will have questions and devotionals to help you. My ultimate goal in writing this book is to empower you to go grow in your faith in Christ, to seek healing within your story and for you to take ownership of your life.

Stay Beautiful,
Susanne
