Hello, It’s Just Me….

I am just a girl who loves to empower and inspire women to be strong and resilient in the hard spaces, places, faces. I want you to trust that Jesus has interlaced his saving grace through the impossible. God will replace your fear, and anxiety with power and a sound, beautifully creative mind and invites you to lay your ragged torn heart at his feet. God will help you trace a path forward and replace your pain with purpose. Come on in, feel the rhythm of His embrace. He did that for me, and I know that is what he wants for you.

I am a woman who has lived through child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, physical, emotional and spiritual abuse, narcissistic abuse (hidden abuse). I am a divorced, single mother for 3 decades; an empty nester, who has lost both parents and I have 3 grandchildren.

Professionally, I have my bachelor’s in business studies, master’s in business management and my conflict resolution certification from Dallas Baptist University all obtained as a single mother later in life, thirty hours for my life experiences. The only reason I share this is to empower you. You matter and so does your life. Half the battle we face is our limitations from the lies we believe. Life is the best education if we learn from it.

I am a BLAST graduate with Shannon Ethridge Ministries as well as a member of the Well Women Alliance; financial support for women to go to healing retreats. I blog bi-monthly here. I have written numerous articles for the -ology Magazine and had a vignette published in 2015 in Aubrey Sampson’s book, Overcomer. I have 12 essays, articles or devotionals in four different books, and I am writing a bible study and memoir. Excited to say I have a full chapter coming out in a book called Rising Above in February, 2025. My books are available under the books tab.

Besides writing, I have served Jesus in many different ministries. I have spoken at women’s retreats, recognition ceremonies, overnight prayer events and many more. I love sharing the saving grace of Jesus through the madness of living in this world, and helping others unravel the lies, to see the truth. I have bought so many….

Don’t ever give up, especially on Jesus. People fail you, but he never will. I know. I danced with the devil, and he is a liar.
